The Institutes for Automation & Industrial IT and Computer Science are located on the Campus Gummersbach - one of four centres of TH Köln. They offer well-equipped laboratory and research facilities on a newly built campus site.

About the Cologne region

All major industrial sectors are represented in the Cologne region. Cologne is home to the headquarters of seven leading international automobile companies (amongst them Ford, Toyota and Volvo), international chemical, pharmaceutical, electro-engineering and mechanical engineering firms.

About the Campus and Gummersbach

The newly built campus houses the centre for computer science and engineering of the Cologne University of Applied Sciences. It is located approx. 50 km east of the city centre.
